As of November 2023 – there was hugely exciting news if you are looking at purchasing a new Tiny home outright in QLD – The Queensland government has doubled the first home owner grant to $30,000 for new builds including Tiny homes until mid-2025. So get in quick !

The changes mean that first home buyers in Queensland may be eligible for a payment of $30,000 towards the cost of purchasing a Tiny home, an increase up from $15,000 under the previous scheme.

This essentially means you can purchase a 1 or 2 bedroom Dongaroo tiny home more or less outright, without finance, with a $30,000 first home owners Qld government grant. The only rule in place is that you must put your Tiny home on a relatives piece of land.
